Text message on my phone says Friend Add - whoever this person saw my number on my profile , shows I live close to him/her, lets chat.
I received the same message which I found strange since my area code is Texas and 971 is Oregon. Also, I have no public profiles or meet up type of accounts. Definitely some kind of spam.

Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
