this number has called me atleast 8 times a day and no one will speak and getting very bad
keep getting calls from this number and even though I have blocked it, I still get calls from it, When I call it back , That number is not in service
I wish that these people would contract a horrible, painful disease. Today's scam is 'your insurance will cover an orthopedic back brace.
Received call from caller. Answered call with my bluetooth, I was too far from the phone to see caller ID at the time. The caller was silent and suspicious so I hung up. When I got back to my phone saw it was a "Suspected Spam" call per my T-mobile Name ID service.
Yep, this was a VERY busy call center, likely in India, promising me a free brace for pain. Cool - I told them I have shoulder and back pain, gave a fake name, BC/BS member number and SSN (why did they want THAT - hmmmm...). They told me a "Pain Specialist" will call back - had them on for 11 minutes. When the "PS" calls back, I'll mess them around as long as possible, asking softball questions and feeding them more bogus info when asked. Eventually, I'll let them know that they have been PUNKED for calling at random (or using a Sales Aggregator that is...) in violation of the National DoNotCall Registry. Takes some time and effort, but I can't think of anything that will make them go away except hitting them in their bottom line (time is money...). Time to PICK UP AND FIGHT BACK!
GMTA. Great Minds Think Alike. I do pretty much the same thing. Fake Medicare number and fake birth date. For the Credit Card scammers I have memorized a fake credit card number and birth date if necessary. When they tell me my credit card number is no good, I can't post here what I tell then to do if they want it see my credit card.
