978-296-9068 has called me several times with an automated message for a different person from "Empire". When I answered the call, it would not give me the option to say that they had reached the wrong person. They said to call 844-208-5174.
Consumer BEWARE: Caller ID read "Empire", so I thought it was about insurance, and (naively) verified my name thinking that a human would get on the phone. Next the computer wanted me to verify my date of birth, so I hung up.
They left a voice mail saying to call back about important health information. A call back puts you into an automated system that sakes for your information... Name, bday. I hung up.
This number called my cell phone. I don't answer numbers I don't know. They did leave a message.. It was an automated message saying it was EMPIRE.. My 1st thought was Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield.. Thought it was odd they just said Empire. They said to call back but if I wanted I can call a toll free number.. 844-208-5174.. I did not call it back.. Nor will I and I wont answer my cell phone or home phone to numbers I dont know.
got a call on my cell from (978) 296-9068 MA, USA. They said it was Empire. Was an automated call asking if this was me. I lied and said no. Asked if I was available. No. They then asked to give message, to call back, left a number (I didn't write down). Also said that I would be receiving a letter.We will see. It was probably some scam.
Received the call again. They say it's from Empire. This time they left message and said to call: 844-208-5174. They also said I would be receiving a letter. I am not calling. I'm sure it's a scam.
Received call from "Empire" asking me to confirm my name. I did so. Then it asked me to confirm my DOB. I hung up. Contacted Empire Insurance. They have never heard of this number and did not have a robot call me. This is an information phishing scam! Do NOT give out any information!
Received call from 978-296-9068 today. Came up my caller ID "Empire". Answered and it was automated message stating they had important information for me. Then it asks you to verify name and then my date of birth. That is wgen I hung up. Definitely feels like a scam to get your personal information. Just hang up.
