Someone running a scam, it was a robocall telling me they are from "my credit card company" (they didn't say the name of any company) and that they could lower my rates and for me to press 8 or something to speak to a rep.I just hung up and put the number on my blocklist.
They called once yesterday and when I answered they said nothing. Shortly after they hung up. They called again today and I missed it. when I called back no one answered. a machine said the service was unavailable.
Got a call on my cell phone while driving, when I heard the words 'credit card' I hung up. I thought Card Services had been put out of business by the Fed...wasn't there a rest news story?
Got a call from this number at 09:58am MDT. I did not answer it because I did not recognize the number.
Same event for me. i did not answer as i did not recognize. I sent a text back. My carrier is telling me that it is a land line, "would i like to pay extra to deliver to a land line?" probably a tele-marketer. certainly a cold-call.
This call was alarming to me becuase the only person I know from Texas is my ex-wife and she has a restraining order against me. Figured on the off-chance it was her I may be breaking the terms of the order if I answered so I let it go to voicemail. She didn't leave one so it couldn't have been too important.
I hate these things. yesterday it was someone pretending to be from some sheriffs office. They should know I'm already incarcerated.
Said they were Card Holder Services lowering my intrest rate so I talked to them knowing it was a scam. I asked them what card they were calling about, they said all. when i told them they werent apart of my finacial institutions and they were probably a scam he asked where i got that frome. when i told him to take me off their list he said "I'm putting you on every [***] list known to man you [***] dumb [***]". I started back at him because i think it fun and he hung up.

called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call
