Anyone else recently get a credit card from Capital One? I've started getting all sorts of strange phone calls ever since I opened the account with them.

Any # 2 Ur land line, could be from "BIG BROTHER - BOUNTY HUNTERS, ect.They use what is called a " black box " .FUNCTION : to listen to ALL (NOISES), TALKING,inside of buildings/Homes.HOW: A # is called ( by THEM ) "Ur's", technicaly, Ur phone don't need to ring," THEY flip 2 switches, and they CAN hear every word spoken".Then what? , just unplug Ur phone from the wall for a minute , then plug back in.That BRAKES THE LINE! Cell phone, "POWER DOWN & then take battery out for a minute, then replace battery & power back up.U should "POWER Ur cell once every 24 hours" any way.Ask Ur provider's "TECH", they will say same. lastly , DON'T ANSWER DON'T CALL BACK!!! to much info passes in a SPLIT SECOND. "HI-TECH" at its bestYes, this is " WIRE TAPPING " and can't be used in a Court of Law, but the Intel. that is collected is 4 later use , we all break the law I don't care how subtle the perfume is ,,, OR, " set up " when U least expect it!

The call is being routed through a number that is disconnected from an existing number so that it cannot be traced back to the source. It's a simple thing to do if you have the right tools. Do not answer this number-simply by picking up the phone you could put yourself in jeopardy of a scam, if the person making the calls knows that it is a working number they could use that knowledge to hack into bank accounts if you have that number attached to an account.

Recorded message to my cell phone in Spanish telling me I am a Walmart preferred customer.... Hmmm... really? I just hung up.

I keep getting calls from this phone number on my cell phone. I never answered it because I don`t know the number. I googled the phone number and it comes up as a "spammer". The number is (985) 986-2324

Guess they are calling all over the states. I'm in Oklahoma. Just got the call. I never answer calls when I don't recognize the phone number calling. I am also on the do not call list. Does that list even really work??

I'm on the east coast, and I also had a miss call from thsi # .....don't know why..probably a scam bc they didn't leave a msg

Just got a call from the same number on my cell phone, did not answer. No message left. I am also on the Do Not Call Registry.
