I kept this clown on the line for 15 minutes - and every time I told him that I already reported him to the FBI's www.ic3.gov website, he kept asking for my credit card number.
It is a clone # and not real. Blocking it will not do anything. These people are scammers big time.
I just got a call from this number 1-987-654-3210, no message on the answering machine. I do not answer calls from people I do not know. Does anyone know who this is? I know it has to be a fraudulent caller trying to get personal information from people but is there anyway of reporting this? Is it a call from outside the states? Or is it that this person calls people in many different countries?
Is there a way the phone company has the technology to trace and eliminate the number ?
You have computer modem issues, or just through your phone? I just did not pick up the phone, I know there are people who call to get personal information, but they also charge some insane amount per minute for the call.
These people call her everyday and say they are calling about our NetCarrier bill. I have asked them numerous times to stop and they continue to call. When I start to get an attitude with them they tell me to relax, tell me to calm down, or just hang up on me. I am getting tire of their fraudulent calls they are wasting my time and wish there was a way to find out exactly whom it is calling. I know they are not from NetCarrier.
I received a call from this number. They ask to speak to someone regarding my AT&T account. They call many times a week. I've heard the "we can't save you money if you don't let us talk to the person in charge of the account". Before they said they were AT&T. When pressed, they reveal themselves to be Teleplex, who we had issues with in the past and stopped services with them. They never provided LD services, since all our LD calls were unable to go through due to the LD carrier. I guess they saved us money by not doing their job and then billing us for them not doing their job.Now they call. I said "Stop calling". I even said "you called before. I said to stop calling". The lady said "I never called you before", so now I'm going to start logging names of who called. I said "I don't care who calls, I am requesting that your company stops calling as we are not interested". She said "we are going to call back". So, it sounds to me like they have now upgraded from annoyance to intentional harassment.
