A social security scam is spoofing the number to a legitimate company named Protect My Car. They sell Roadside Assistance. Yvette said they've had many calls this morning and she was very apologetic.

I knew this was a scam but called the number to get them to take me off the call list, and when I asked, they began threatening me saying they were going to come find me and kill my baby that was crying in the background.

I have not asked them not to call as I do not answer calls of numbers I do not recognize or which are clearly recordings.

When we tried to tell them to stop calling, they started verbally harassing us and kept calling over and over again after we kept hanging up

CRA Scammer, real number belongs to RBC Bank Employee (office number). Someone is spoofing this number for fraudulent purposes

After I answered the phone, a male voice took a while before he said “hello”, then stayed silent for a few seconds and hung up.

Calling about bill/credit card I don’t have. They won’t let you talk but are asking that you send money to resolve the credit card. Hung up when I asked to speak.

Recording to threaten to file lawsuits in my county if I do not resolve matters today. Whatever, I have no legal matters. Total fraud!

I supposedly visited an affiliated website and earned a $100 reward at one of many major retailers. Hiya IDs it as a high volume caller.

Yes, this is a weird robot call. Govt agencies should trace and fix this annoying spammer. Sure, a lot older people will fall for this. Criminals are within the USA. Don't know why phone companies are not tracing the call origination.

Representative knew my name and proceeded to try to sell some type of saving on mortgage interest.
