Just got a call from 023-456-7890 Didn't answer obviously a phoney area code. How can we stop them from calling? How do they get our phone numbers?
Just received a call from this number and they were some computer "support" company. I told them if there was a problem with my computer I would get my IT guy to look into it for me.
Just got a call from this number saying they were computer support company and I had a virus on my computer. Got upset with me when I told him my computer was fine. I asked if he knew where I lived and he gave me my address was but did not pronounce it properly. Eventually, I just hung up in his ear. He had an accent.
Just got a call, he asked me if my refrigerator was running. . .Just kidding, folks, I didn't answer, but after reading these I just might next time.
Yup, just got the same call at 10:15 pm from this number. Man with Indian accent saying he was calling from Microsoft XP department saying they have notices saying I have downloaded malicious viruses. I asked him how he knew what computer system I had. He said that their records show I have a Windows based computer. I told him I don't. He said Ok and hung up. It's obviously a phishing scheme. Trying to get you to log on to your computer and take you to an obsure page that might shows some errors that are completely normal and get you to buy some kind of phony anti virus and give him your credit card info.
this number has been calling at the same time, for a few times now. they just hung up. very annoying.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
