Hello, I too just got a call from these scam artist... trying to tell me I owe for a pay day loan back in 4/2008 at first I was wondering if I did take out a loan so I ended up making payment arrangements with them and gave them my debit card number but after I got off the phone I was still wondering if this was a scam... went on the internet and found they are.. don't give them any money!! I already called my bank and informed them of the situations... transfered my $ to a different acct and deactived my debit card

I have received 2 of these calls in one day. Left messages on my voice mail. It is a strong Indian accent, stating :the very second you receive this message he needs a call from me or my retained attorney. He states his name is Daniel James, what Indian man is named Daniel James? Tells me to call him at 310-362-9395, repeats number 3 times and says something like if I do not call him he can only wish me good luck as this situation unfolds. Who says that? I have not called the number, not going to.

I also had problems with these people they called my grandparents phone 29 times in 2 hours, I was given a number by my grandparents to call didnt even work I waited and talked to them the said I took out a loan for $1600.34 and that if I didnt pay them I would be in court Monday and if I lost I would have to pay $11,000 to them. This person harrased my family threatened me and called himself Jason Swift and he had an Indian accient, I called the local FBI they gave me a number of an International Police Group called Phonebusters the number is 1-888-495-8501 and they are based in Canada. Give them a call on the week days. Also I dont know about where everyone else lives but if you answer the phone and press *57 it will report the number and if you do it enough it will block the number. Hope this helps everyone and I hope this guy or guys get caught soon.

An indian guy called my home twice this morning beginning @ 10:38 am. I allowed the answering machine to answer it at first but his message was full of static. He called right back & I answered. I told him that he had the wrong number because these same "scammers" called me before from a different # & I already knew it was a scam. He asked for me again & I repeated that he had the wrong number. Shockingly, he was polite & apologized for bothering me. I don't know what to do about these calls & I'm losing my patience with them.

got a call from a man named max johnson with a very strong iraq accent, he left a message sayin to call back if i didnt he felt sorry 4 me, so my temper called the # he left back, he had my name last 4 of ss# and said this was a lawsuit, very rude words, i told him i wanted his manager he said there wasnt any, i said i didnt like ur message and i dont like ur attitude now buddy,he said im not ur f'ing buddy, so i said a few choice words and hung up, he called right back, i called verizon they traced call to bev. hills ca. and said it was a scam. this guys r rude and have to much info,they need to b stopped

They called me multiple times at my work and cell phone.... The individual on the phone was forgeign... asking for my Attorney of record, for some kind of case... I ASKED why they were calling and what kind of case... they would not say, inormed me that they must read and alpha david to me.... I refused till she would tell me what it consernerd.... still nothing, i hung up.... she called back and said my case would be heard in front of a judge tomorrow, i have no judgements against me. and have not recived anything about a court case.... they tried to get me to verify information on myself... i refused..... THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

102-855-1013RECEIVED PHONE CALL FROM A BAD ACCENT MAN THREATING ME ASKING FOR MY ATTORNEY NAME REGARDING FRAUD!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ABOUT!!! I HAVE NEVER COMMITTED FRAUD AND VERY GOOD CREDIT!!!!

The call starts off on a fishy note from the very beginning. I can catch about every third word, everything is garbled, the caller who switches from referring to himself as Martin Brown then Joe Brown has a distinct Indian accent that could not be more thick even if he were calling from India as opposed to the California location that this number pulls up. I've received calls from 102-855-1013, but the call back # I'm given is 714-783-2216. As I mentioned it's near impossible to make out what's being said, but I distinctly heard the following key words: affedavit, arrest, wages, employer, morning. They called me at work about 10 times in one day and we all passed the phone around until someone was able to make out my name, or a close approximation to it. The caller does have information about me, but it's not current. When I ask questions they are evasive so I tell them to procreate with themselves and hangup. It's been my experience in the past that telemarketers and scammers go for easy targets, so by playing hardball with these people you would think they would move onto the next victom, but the fact that they're so persistant makes me wonder if they are somehow hired or consulting with legitimate credit agencies.Which brings me to my concern; is this real or bogus? I have borrowed money in the past, and I have paid it off, and I have been confronted by collection agencies which choose to take the rude in your face approach (which is not very successful). So the fact that the calls don't stop but repeat daily makes me wonder if there is a legitimate debt on my part that's simply being handled by knuckleheads who resort to devious tactics to collect on said debt. I have received NOTHING in writing, be it email or postal service indicating I owe anyone money, yet the calls indicate I was notified in writing. I think I will look into this a bit further and see how far I can get.
