Totally a scam! I posted an ad selling my heels in craiglist. It's been over a month and no one have contact me about my heels. This morning this individual text me about my heels. I told that person that my heels are all still available though that person didn't ask, but just text that my #1 image(for the heels) is hot. Then that person just keep texting weird stuff that doesnt seemto be interested in buying them. Asking questions like, " how do you look in those heels". I text back saying that if he/she not buying my heels and just texting me as a joke then to better off quit it. That person text back asking if I wear thong...I just never bother responding back and deleted my ad on craiglist as soon as possible. That person screen name or whatever that shows on my text was something like XDmarcus( it may not be fully right, but I'm 100% sure the screen name have the "Marcus" in it.)..Thanks ALL for all these informations on this caller #.
Did anyone get the answers they were looking for? I'm getting texts from someone with this number, but it's from someone I met on myspace. Someone please let me know what they found out. Thanks
I was also scammed by SSG Chris Robles. He sent me his military ID with scanned bar code to prove to me it was really him and sent me a picture of him with my picture taped to the wall in back of him. He also sent picture of him with troops in Kabul Afghanistan. He said all the right things, even wrote some poetry that he claimed was his but I found those lines in a poetry website. He could've used adobe photoshop but the picture of him holding a sign that said "I miss you Valerie" with my pic on his wall in back of him looked so real that I believed he really was a military man in Kabul Afghanistan. He used a lot of poetry and finally asked me, since his own laptop and cell phone got destroyed on a mission, he asked me to send him a laptop and a Iphone 5 so we could facetime !!! that's when it clicked for me and I found all these scammer website , one with his name, same story, different request...A few days ago I found the picture of Chris Robles when I searched by name on Facebook. Today that profile is gone from Facebook !
He contacted me from zoosk. He said it was first time he emailed anyone on site. He hasn't asked for money. What does he want? Money?
omg, me too! today that person txted me and said his name was brandon lang from the us army. and he started saying bad words at me. -.-
OMG, after reading from all of you, I can't believe it myself. I joined a dating site Military Cupid and he was on it also, we started talking and on his profile he says he lives in Brentwood TN and that he's a doctor who works for the Red Cross in Nashville and now he's in Nigeria Lagos State and wanted me to open up an account for him cause he can't access his checking account back here in the states and he needs to pay his daughter's school fee. We spoke together for 17 days he's a real charmer watch out!! He even told me that he talked about me to his mom and daughter and he sent me an email from his daughter, obviously another person pretending to be Karen. He went by the name: Robert Bruce. When I asked him to email me a copy of his drivers license so I could be sure it was him I was talking to from the picture on MC, he kept walking around it. It was too good to be true!
Ok I met a man on Webdate using the name Simon Levy & we talked everyday for 3 months until he started ask me for money & that was the end. I found his profile again Webdate last night & gave him a earful about it & told him he is a scammer & I reported him again. This morning I get a text on my cell from this number w/ his Yahoo ID. This man broke my heart. Stay away from men that claim they live in Beverly Hills & are widowed. His AOL is simonlevy & Yahoo is simonlevy42. Be careful bc I spotted more profiles simuliar to Simons on Webdate. The only way to get around the scammers is to use dating sites that pre-screen their clients. Also the dating sites need to take a lot more responsibility for these scams.
