Got a call from 111-111-1111 on a Saturday afternoon.They were sorta mumbeling when the picked up and inediately went into they were conducting a survey. I let then start and it was soething about where do you get your information from the Phone Book or.... that is when I asked for thier Company Name, they kept saying they are conducting a survey. I Went on to tell them You called from a Fraudlent #, I need to know what is the name of your company - 3 times we went round, I asked to speak to thier supivisor, that is when you hear voices from India in the backgroud. Not in English.Obviously they are fishing for some type of information

they called, said something about tennessee and then yelled my name and hung up.

I recieved all 1s as a phone number not the first time but they have apps that allow u to make up any phone number to call you. I just found out recently and it is very real i seen it used.

I received a call from this number just a couple of hours ago, and the recorded message identified the caller as Kelly Employment, the same as a couple of others that have posted on this response site. It surprised me because, on the one hand, the prospective employer they mentioned is a legitimate company, with a plant practically across the street from the local office of Kelly Services; but on the other hand, I haven't had anything to do with Kelly Services for nearly a year and a half, and wouldn't expect them to still have my name on active file ... especially since the last time I was in their office, I stomped out because they had done something to tick me off (I won't give details), stating that I no longer cared to be associated with them. I listened to their message, then just hung up at the end, rather than press any buttons to choose a response. After reading a few of the other postings about this matter, I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm skeptical about it being a legitimate employment offer.

I Have getting these calls for a week now 3 to 5 times a day. I do not answer it and they do not leave a voice mail.

After reading a few more of these postings and thinking more about it, I recall that I have received calls from the number before ... except not the same caller every time. It hasn't happened that often for me ... it was months ago since the last time, which is why I sort of forgot about it at first. But what it's beginning to sound as if the 1-111- number is some sort of service that various companies use to prevent being flooded with call-backs or being identified by their actual phone number. When it's shady debt collectors, I can see why, but I don't get why a real temp employment service would use it to notify people of a job opportunity with an actual client employer. So I've decided to "error on the side of caution" and put them on my phone's contact list as DO NOT ANSWER. So whoever uses that number to try calling me will never get through.

well, I am part of this club I guess. I use to call people on the phone when I was like 12. you sound older than 12. find something else to do. it was fun reading all of this things related to this number. Like it is somedead guy in heaven. liked the bowel of cereal comment as well. 1-111-111-1111 I do not want to play with you. but thanks for the invite, maybe 2-222-222-2222 would enjoy hearing from you.

A little 411...even after requesting to have the number blocked (1111111111) from my cell phone provider it didn't help...because in my case it's coming from an online APP...it's called "spoofing". In order to track down who is behind the "spoofing" I have to report it to the local authorities and hopefully they will do an investigation in which case my cell phone provider's legal department will assist with the investigation. If they don't feel it's worth while then there is nothing I can do to stop them! In my case I suspect it's an ex-employee we terminated. He was dumb enough to tell us about it and do it by calling me with my husband's cell phone number a couple of times! Good Luck everyone...hope this info was helpful.

111-111-1111 may be a phoney number used by many entities in order to get around anonymous call rejection. It may not be a "legal" number for blocking, but it seems to work just fine for avoiding blocked call blocking! I got a call from this number at 6:15 pm and then another call from another number that appears to be a political "survey" at 6:53.
