111-111-1111 / 1111111111

I receive these calls numerous times a day. I answered 2 of them and told them they were a scam. He (middle eastern accent) got beligerent and said he was from the federal government and if I say its a scam he will continue to call me. He called me twice at 7:30pm who from the government would call? I told him i would have received a letter and he said he sent one last week and repeated my home address. These guys don't stop. Surely, with all of the technology out there, you could catch these jerks. I only feel badly for the elderly if they're afraid and get scammed out of their money.

I have received 6 calls from this number today, each ranging from 3 hours to as little as 30 minutes apart. Its driving me crazy! My cell phone isn't sophisticated enough to block calls, what should I do? Will the calls eventually stop on their own, or will I have to take some sort of action?

I receive calls from 1-111-111-111 (notice one number missing!) at least twice a day on my Verizon cell phone. I have no idea who this is, and anytime I have tried answering, there is nobody on the other end. I agree this type of number is a scam. Could it be the precursor to some sort of computer virus I wonder???

This number keeps showing up on my caller ID and I am not even a Comcast customer, nor are they available in my area

I did not personally receive a text message from this number but my friend did. It said the same thing about going online and i think that there were also some pretty dirty texts also. Hope this whole thing gets resolved. Thanks all above for posting...great help to my friend and myself. peace

I have gotten this number on my phone as well. I was in Vegas at the time and called one of those numbers on the flyers they hand out on the streets. I called it out of curiosity and they called me back with this number.

im in fl and they got my work phone they call.plus call my personal cell but wont answer it

got a call on my home phone from (111)-111-1111: More of the time this kind of caller never will answer you if you ask them who they are and sometimes if you call them back it will not go though how can I find out who this is ? How do they use this number

Rec'd a ph call from these jerks at 7:22 PM, C.S.T. on 10/31/07, but didn't get to posting it until today. Number was 111-111-1111. I didn't bother answering, as these types of caller ID's aren't to be trusted. No message left in our voice jail either. - AL
