Have blocked the numbers they have used but the numbers keep increasing by one digit. Scumbags!

I blocked them, but got a text from 002 the next day. Would like to know who they are.

I think you are on to something with the Anthem data breach. I have received two messages from these numbers in the last couple days, and my cell number was likely in Anthem's database. It looks like everyone else on here has been receiving these spam texts only over the last few days, also. I would be curious to know how many have had Anthem insurance.Regarding the msgs, I would try to block them but not attempt to reply. That would just let the sender know it is a valid number.

Text msg from 410-100-003 saying to confirm phone number to keep FB account active

I have received 3 of these text messages in the last week, starting with 1(410)-100-001, next one ending in 2, tonight's ended in 3. This is very irritating, for anyone, let alone a 74 year old woman, as I am. I have blocked each text, reported the first one to 7726. I was instructed to send text back stating STOP, which did no good. I'm confident it will continue with different short code phone numbers. If anyone knows how to stop this bull----, I would be appreciative. Thanks.
