Has to be a SCAM. there is not a 198 area code.

Scammer claiming to be Windows Support. "Name not found" comes up on the caller ID, and there is no 198 area code. They tried to call back twice after I hung up on them. They spoke with a thick, hard to understand foreign accent. I gave them no information.

Just happened to me. Knew my name and home address

My Vonage phone identified it as "name unavailable Unknown Number" I answered the phone as "Please - I just got our of the Hospital. Do not call this number" and they just hung up I got the number from Vonage by the exact time they called. The problem is that Vonage will not accept that number for blocking calls,

Caller ID "name not found". When I answered, no-one was there. Checked the area code and, according to Wikipedia, 198 is an old area code for the Agsu District of Azerbaijan, changed to the new area code of 20 on 8/1/2011. No doubt it is some sort of scam call with a spoofed number.

I got the same call . The person said the same thing. They called me at 9:45 pm.it is a scam. I told the woman I was not gong to talk to her and hung up.

Yup. Had a nice conversation about "the networks" showing a problem with my computer. When I was told to press some keys, I told the caller that it made my computer make a gastrointestinal noise. Then I hung up.Caller blocked.

Twice now called from 1987365840 and someone with a thick Indian accent says they're from Windows support, claiming hackers are on my network. When asked if it's a solicitation or they're selling something they insist no on both (lies). I happen to be a software developer so I let them go on while I debunk everything they say until they get fed up, cuss me out and hang up. :)
