TIRED OF SCAM CALLS…GRR. 201-845-6009 CALLS, HANGS UP, REPEATEDLY…GRR!!!!

Reporting to the FCC is actually useful as the DNC list only regulates legitimate telemarketers, not these scam calls. Additionally, if the caller is offerring some sort of business or service the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) is interested and the call should be reported to them, as well. FTC has its own web form for reporting. Depending on the call, I report these illegitimate calls to the FCC, FTC, or both. I always also report to the DNC on the outside chance it was from a genuine telemarketer.I picked up the phone this time as this number had never called before but no one was on the line.

Just got a call from them. Told the I was their God now. There was hesitation then a hang up. I hope to hear back from them.

Last night at 8.54pm received call from 1-201-845-6009. A man (name I forget) but heavily accented (perhaps African origin) called about extending my Honda warranty. He had all the information about the car, year and model, information about recalled parts. I told him I was not interested. He proceeded to give me the cost/benefits for 3 year renewal. I suspected a scam and I told him no deal and he disconnected rather abruptly. I called the number today: "we're sorry, your call cannot be completed at this time....please hang up and try your call later". This is a haunting experience!

2 phone calls, answered no one spoke.

Caller hung up when I pressed him to tell me who he was calling on behalf of. Very broken English. I am on no caller list

Caller from Hackensack, NJ; did not pick up and they left no message. Blocked.
