Have received 3 calls. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize!

Received the same type of call, regarding a car warranty. They knew my Honda model and when I originally purchased it . Does anyone else wonder whether these "Automobile Warranty" telemarketers are being provided your automobile information by the dealer????

4 calls today each time they hang up on me. when i call back it says it is disconnected

I just got a call from 201-845-6009. My phone says that it's Hackensack, NJ. First, he asked for me by name and said that he hadn't received the paperwork back for my 2009 Honda CRV warranty. I told him that I don't have a warranty. He stated my correct address. Then, he proceeded to tell me that it was the perfect opportunity to get a warranty. I told him that I am not in need of a warranty. He quickly hung up.

This # is calling me two or three times a day I am old and would like this to stop

I keep receiving calls from 201-845-6009 too. No one ever leaves a message so I have no idea what the call is regarding. Apparently, it's a scam from the multiple comments here. Thank goodness I don't answer!

Keep getting unwanted hang up calls from this phone number.

They called and insisted they were from GM, not another company. Wanted to offer a warranty before the offer expired. She insisted they could reinstate the warranty on a car that has been out of warranty for over a year. When I kept pressing her for the real name of her company she wished me well and ended the call.

There is nothing I could add to what hasn't been said concerning this number. The government's Do Not Call List is a joke! I think the telemarketing people get their numbers from the Do Not Call List. I hate these calls and there isn't a damn thing anybody can do about them. It requires government action and they do not act on anything.
