Unsolicited call. Dead when answered. I am on Do Not Call list..... reporting to FCC

i just got a call at work from 201-845-6009. thankfully, i was busy. i called back. the number does not work. i googled the number and got these comments. its a scam. this is a great way for consumers to defend themselves.. thank you all for your posts.

It is a SCAM! Do not get involved with there bogus calls. They had the nerve to try me twice! Shame on them

Woke me up at 1000 today. The phone was across the room so it took a few rings before I could answer. When I finally did pick up, the line went dead.

I received a call from them to consolidate student loans.

201-845-6009 keeps calling me on a car I no longer own for over a year. When I tell them I don't own the vehicle any longer, they have the nerve to ask me what I did with it, then insist I still own it and just trying to get out of purchasing the warranty, which they seem to think I am required to do.

Repeated calls from no one. No voice, no message, no answer just a major nuisance!!! Obvious scammers!!!!

You are trying to be funny, right? Nobody is as stupid as this.

I have received 4 missed calls from 201-845-6009, but the person didn't leave any voice message. When I tried to call back at this number, I didn't hear any response. This is annoying; I have blocked this caller on my i-phone.

Just called at 11:55am est. Caller ID said from NJ. I didn't answer, no vm.
