They have been calling looking for my son who has not lived here since 2006. I tried nicely to tell her that and the damn [***] hung up in my ear. This is about the 8th call from them. You call the number back and there is no answer. On the do not call list too.. Not sure why.. seems it don't work.

Recvd 2 calls already today from this number, one early morning, one at 11:30am, no one answered on either call....

Nobody needed to sell any numbers because these scamming callers just use a robot dialer that dials every number one after the other and transfers the call to a person if you actually answer it. BIG pain in the back-side. And because of the way VOIP phones work, they can set the caller id to say whatever number they want it to.

I get calls about 2 times a month from these idiots. I have never bought a new car or a used car from any dealership and do not have a warranty. We own a 1989 Chevy van. I go along with them and say wonderful I have an extended warranty. My 1989 van is broken down in the driveway, what does my warranty cover. They always hang up.

Obvious scam. Simple rule is don't give your info out over the phone if they are the ones that initiated the call. I get this call once in a while and like to have a little fun. The more time I waste of theirs, the less time they have to scam. The best was on their first question of how many miles my Nissan (that I don't have anymore) had on it--I told them 2,018,456.09 miles and asked them what the cost would be for a warranty. Had them going for a couple of minutes till it dawned on them I was pulling their leg.
