We have received 12 calls from 202-329-5143 consecutively back-to-back every 2-3 minutes. I have had to turn off the answering machine and turn off all my phones ringer's. I am on the phone now with SHAW to issue a complaint. We're in Vancouver and calling started at approximately 8:20 pm.

I live in Markham, Ontario and I received a call from 202-329-5143 when I answered the phone I said hello three times without a response...and eventually they hung up. I decided to look up the area code about 5 minutes ago merely because I thought it was a relative in Canada trying to call me because of the passing of a love one a few days ago only to discover this site. I was quite amazed at what I discovered on here. I must admit it surely got my attention and I will most certainly investigate who is calling from this number. I will keep everyone posted of my findings if I am successful.

Is it possible that everyone who gets a dead air call from this number is on the Telemarketer's Do Not Call list?...and those who received the call are not on the do not call list...just a thought

Got a call from this number at 5:20pm in Victoria, BC. When I answered there was dead air, I said hello a few times then the other end hung-up.

Received a call from this number @ 1315, January 5, 2013. I picked up the phone but didn't say anything, waited a few seconds, and then hit *#*#*# repeatedly. When the phone stopped beeping, the call terminated itself. I do this for all incoming calls from sources I don't recognize.

ca fait 5 fois en 1 mois que je recois des téléphones de ce numéro et il n'y a jamais de réponse je suis sur la liste pour ne pas avoir ce genre d'appel j'aimerais bien savoir comment faire pour le bloquer si quelqu'un peut m'aider merci je suis de montréal

Got a call, also 5:20pm inVancouver, BC. Dead air as well.

I forgot to mention that the incoming call was to my home phone, in Port Alberni, on Vancouver Island, on Canada's Glorious Pacific South West! :-)

Got a call a few times this week from 2023295143. They can't be blocked with *60 command. I hate this [***] since I am a shift worker. The phone companies should be able to control this nonsense.
