I received an unsolicited recorded call from this number -- the recorded voice offering me 2 free tickets to a cruise to Nassau and the Bahamas, but only if I participate in their "survey." The recording gave an option to participate or not, and also to "remove your number from our list".. I did nothing, and hung up. I received this call Jan 11, 2013. I live in Ottawa, Canada. I am on the national Do Not Call Registry. I've just sent in a complaint. Considering that many people have complained before me, obviously the Do Not Call Registry folks are failing to protect us from this caller.

I just got a call from this number. I'm area code 905 and am near Niagara Falls, Ontario.I Google #'s I don't know to see if they are scams. When I Google'd this one, the search box showed me 2 others that were similar coming from the same area code. I believe if they don't reach you from one, they will try another.I just watched Marketplace on Friday (repeated on Saturday), and apparently they could track down annoying calls from an air duct cleaning service that calls people up to 3x/day. The CRTC couldn't find them and were dumbfounded when approached about this. They offer no solution because they claim the callers are spoofing numbers to keep ahead of the game.I'm on the do-not-call-list and it worked for a while, but doesn't anymore.

Got a call from 202 329 5143, they hung up as soon as I took the call.

Recieved call ... Dead air, then they hung up.

I think it's just that most folks don't understand that business numbers can be called with impunity by telemarketers, and they don't care if they call a business number or a residential number. But I do agree, that Chuck should not demean people just because he doesn't have enough information on-hand to understand differences that people are encountering.

Recieved a call and no message from this number. Do not know who it is yet. Hope they do not call again!
