I received a call on Jan. 10/13 - I am in the 905 area code in Ontario, Canada. Didn't answer as they are calling my cell. I did call it back and Verizon Wireless state that the number is no long in service. Another call from 1-202-316-8196 on Dec. 11/12. Same thing. Must be soliciting.
This number has been calling every second or third day, usually in the afternoon. All I get is static on the other end, and if I am not home no message left. I believe its a system that checks for active numbers, but not sure. Without identifying the company that is calling me I cannot report it to the CRTC.

Just got a call from this number as well. I am in NS. I do not answer the phone if I do not know who the caller is. I have been reading other peoples comments on this number, and I wonder why they even bother to call if they are not saying anything.....
Received cal from this number and said congratulations. This is the 2nd call in the last few days. I just hang up...very irritating.

THEY FOOL YOUR CALLER ID. WE NEED FOREIGN GOVERNMENT COOPERATION.Just get a new phone that has call blocking at minimum or if your willing to invest in call blocking from a service provider that's fine to. i am in BC and got a call from this number too saying I'd won a cruise. I wonder if we all have something in common (booked a cruise lately? booked anything thru expedia?) Or perhaps its just random
Got a call from this number. They left no message. My number is on the Do Not Call List. In these days many of these idiots use fake numbers for the Caller ID. So they can't be prosecuted. These telemarketes are a real annoyance. I have now a whistle beside my phone to blow when I got that kind of calls.

they keep calling me asking if i am or know sombody
"Greater Nevada Credit Union Fraud Prevention" called and left message. We called bank directly, no prob with our cards or account. Incidentally, we always get a bunch of scam calls after posting something to Craigs List or FB Market Place.

This number comes up as a match to my name on Microsoft search results, and with a different age than MY true age. There is no other ME who has the same first, middle and last name spelled like this that I EVER came across. It's definitely a scam!

Scotia bank fraud Dept calling about a change to my account
I just tried to log into my SS account and could see that this number was trying to get a code to gain access. This country is OUTTA CONTROL. Hey Elmo is this you and your teen gang?
SCAM - Caller with Indian accent claimed to be calling from Barclays credit card fraud department. Asked for personal information. Just hang up.
