This number called me everyday never leaves a message when I finally answered and asked them to take me off their call list they replied with do u wanna [***]. I'm so pissed right now.
These [***] call day and night. If anybody gets a location on these pricks let me know. I'll put them right out of business.
Yesterday, I received a call from 202-465-5586Today it was from 321-250-8481.Neither of them gave any information, however, when researched online, both numbers appear to use the same technique of "you've won a free cruise".My personal speculation: they are either investigators trying to insidiously obtain information to find someone for collection purposes, or they are simply using auto-dialers and making note of the "active" phone numbers so they can sell your number in the future.My personal recommendation: stop answering phone calls from numbers you don't know. If it's an important call, they'll leave a voice mail.
Got some hangups from this # too. Reported it to my ag and the the ag in washington dc which is where the area codes from. Not much else you can do. And don't give em any personal info - even if you did "win a luxury cruise"!
Thank you for taking the time to write this down and post for us. These tweekers will use every trick in the book to get a CC# or bank info, they don't care who it is. My own nephew robbed my mother blind while she was on her deathbed, even wrote bad checks after she died, he was her caregiver. He stole money from my sisters purse. All he cared about was getting his next fix. Lied to my face. Supposedly clean now, we'll see, but I'll never let him in my house again.The desperation of these people is scary. I can imagine them in an organized sophisticated scale, like the movie Identity Thief. I have no problem not answering the phone. I always come here and check it out.
