Just had the same experience as the other recent reports listed here. Learned the hard way that you can't trust a call at face value and that you should never give out your numbers. This is absolutely a scam and the number should be reported in some way. I don't know what their plans were beyond what they did, but I do feel that they could be dangerous.

Call came in at 3:41P.M. on February 9, 2026. No spoken message was left. I checked the missed call box that read not in service. I checked the phone and there was a dial tone. I assumed the call was a scam.
