They called me saying they were from the us treasury & that I was one of the many few chosen to receive money. They told me I won $7,800 & that I could pick it up from a nearby walmart. They also gave me a code & a number to call. This is definitely a scam!! The government doesn't give out free money! & if they did, why the hell would they have you pick it up at a Walmart?!

I use "youMail" as my voicemail inbox and select "ditch" any number that's annoying and youmail takes care of that for me and the software don't even let my phone ring when they call.

As soon as they start talking, I yell SCAM into the phone as loudly as I can. Hopefully, they are wearing headsets and I'll damage one of them enough to have second thoughts about how he makes his living.

Call from some pull-to-start about my Winblows computer being infected. Too bad there isn't a single one in the house. Ask him what he's wearing; what he wants for dinner and can I come over to his house when he gets off thriving. Saab gets offended and hangs up......... There NGC scammers are so much fun!!

SCAM ALERT!(206) 777-1088 ,(201) 777-1088 ,(215) 415-1423 ,(416) 364-1111... are from a group of people from or in India. They SPOOF, PHISH, SPAM, & SCAM.If you miss the call or hang up and call back the number is not in service.They insist not hanging up and will even give what SEEMS to be legitimate websites (i.e... www.grants.gov) to check out while on phone, and want to get your personal information (address, date of birth, social security#... and any other personal information they can get out of you). I have received GRANTS before, from legitimate funding and because it was government funded they already have that info and only need to verify the last 4 digits of ss# (not the whole thing).I was a victim once, not twice! This time I'm educated!If anyone receives a call from any of the above #'s, IT'S A SCAM!!!

Nobody spoke when I answered, but there were loud call center voices in the background. Then they hung up.

Caller Id says " Seattle WA" . Stated that they were from microsoft and detected an issue with our computer. Microsoft does not call you with this bull. Same people called my elderly sister who does not even own a computer!

Did not recognize the number and so, did not answer. Then I look here to see if it appears and of course it does and the comments show how annoying these people are to us. So my message is do NOT answer any number you do not recognize. If it is legitimate they will leave a message and you can then decide.

I agree will Lew, on yesterday my phone rang more that ten times with all type of numbers such as 4, 21' unknown and several other numbers. I never answer my phone if it is a number I don't recognize. I am puzzled as to how these low life's get cell phones numbers. Something should be done about these creeps.

Just received a call 6/9/15 saying thy were from the US Government I right away said to put me on their no call list as I could tell lit was fake and he asked why. I said because you are not real... He said you don't even know the purpose of why I am calling how do you know I am not real. So I asked why they were calling and they immediately hung up.
