received a hang up call....tried calling back and got the same message as listed above.....it was a Verizon message saying the number was no longer in service. I too am on the no call list. something is wrong in Verizon system that someone can make calls with a phone no longer in service!
Call your congressman and ask why they allow this. FTC and and Do Not call Complaints are useless. Your congressman allowed this to happen by voting in favor of telemarketers and bill collectors. Even if you do not owe a bill collector. I can only guess why a corrupt congressman would side in favor of these businesses instead of the voters.Please email and call your congressman each time they call each of you. Congressmen do not care because we act as individuals and not as a group. Please let others know who really behind these harassing calls, your congressman.
