I got the same call about renewing my car warranty. I even got the call on my cell phone. I have a new car with a factory warranty, so I too think this call was a scam.
I received a call from this number this morning about car warranty was sleeping..wtf..I also called back, but te said "the number has been disconnected" as well.
Got the call today and they tried to sell me a car warranty...told them my warranty was just fine thanks. Wanted information like sn and insurance info but when I told them i didnt have it they still wanted to try and sell warranty...so obviously a scam
I got the same message today, Nov. 25th 2008. Telling me about my car warranty. I find it interesting because I bought my car from my brother. So it is some sort of scam. The number is disconnected. I wouldn't worry about it.
Just got a call from the same # 1-207-952-1732 did a reverse search and it said Rodney & Patricia Wales of Lovell, Maine? Questioned it and here I am..I ALSO have a T-Mobile cell, so how in the world did they get my number???
207-925-1732 I got this call on my home phone and my cell phone. I answered once on my cell phone and it said something about a warranty on my car. I'm really pissed off that now I have to pay for that phone call - long distance on my cell phone. Is that even legal for telemarketers to call my cell phone?
