I got a call from this #207-993-2642 in ME on 11/29/10. I didn't answer it and did not try to call it back. I'm glad I didn't bother seeing all these complaints here. I live in Michigan.
Just got a call from this number on my cell and they didn't leave a message. Really ticks me off! I NEVER give my cell number out to anyone I don't know personally (never give it to businesses either). Very irritating.
This same number also replies to classified ads that do not list the phone number as though they are interested and they ask you to call them at this number so they can collect your phone number for fraudulent use.Definitely scammers!!
got a call at 9:15am from this number. Didn't answer it, as my phone charges way too much for me to take unknown numbers on a whim. Glad I didn't. I checked the number after the call was missed and found it's from Maine, I expect scam calls from AZ and nearby states, but calling from Maine when I'm in Los Angeles? I'm sure someone will give me grief over this, but I'm a bit mad reading that for the people who answered the call it was in Spanish, what, do the scammers on the East Coast think that all of us on the West Coast need it in Spanish?
The number they call from keeps changing. BTW if you have AT&T, they have anti spam phone tools for customers at their site.
someone from this number 207-993-2642 called my parents house and said that the charge card name didn't match their last purchase, which is true because I made their last purchase for them... so my parents gave them my name and my phone number, these jerks never called me and now they have my credit card number, my phone number and my name... I tried calling this number many many times, and it is busy all the time.... please people do not give anyone any personal information ever!! I now had to call my credit card etc.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
