I agree the surveys are way, way too long...20 minutes is idiotic and I can assure you I know of some that are even longer. The reason they don't use snail mail is that they have long since found that very, very few people respond to those, far fewer than respond to phone surveys.

Actually, they could very well have called three times in one day -- that's not at all unusual. Many times, people are called more often than that. I used to do work on BRFSS studies in another state.

Got several calls. Finally answered. They explained who they were. They wanted to know if there was a man in the house. The then wanted to speak with him. He wasn't around and they were very persistant in wanting to know when he would be home. Said they were doing health research. The next time the called I requested that they loose the number. So far it hasn't worked.

It should suffice, but it doesn't -- for some reason, most of the BRFSS states require two refusals to kick a number out of a study. Of course, if you ask them not to call you again, they're not supposed to. If they do call again after being asked not to, by all means report them to the attorney general in your state.

So you are a paid survey company who to begin with---pays for personal info about the disabled and elderly. Once you get this info,you call and harass these individuals to get info about them to sell to others.DESPICABLE. Is this your own site ? You can immediately reply to and dispute anyone that posts a complaint about your underhanded(read=immoral) tactics. And are you also trained to insult the posters by correcting their English ? Are you for real ? Do we NOT have enough creepy corps. out there accumulating info about us already? Do you have to pass a creep-test to do your job ? You all are succeeding...

I don't think they should call that late, either, but they have no way of knowing what time you get up unless you tell them. If you ask them to stop calling you, they're supposed to -- if they don't report them to the attorney general in your state. And one last thing -- instead of giving them a "good ol' Arkansas cussin' ", just ask them nicely to remove your number from their list for that and all other studies. If they continue to call after that, report them to the attorney general in your state.

Do not answer any calls you receive from this number. They are a scam!
