Received text message at 10:10am today from this number, purporting to be USAA,. Recognized it as a physhing scam. These people need to be arrested. If any one sends you a text message with no ID other than a phone number, block the number on your phone and report it to the institution -- I don't even have an account a USAA. I also choose not to have a voicemail account. If you feel compelled to respond to these scammers -- DON'T.
texted me saying that i need to update my usaa account using their link. i don't even have a usaa account.
I received the same text and I am a USAA member. But, I also work in IT at USAA, and this is a Phishing type attack. We do not send texts to members when we update/upgrade servers, since that has nothing to do with their accounts. DO NOT click on link. I am forwarding to our InfoSec team
