My phone is used for emergencies only, if for any reason anything happens to impair the health of the ones living in this household, I will not stop till everyone responsible pays for it.At any cost!!!!.I already reported the phone number and I am hoping this survay company will comply.
You people who defend anyone who calls my home against my wishes are the biggest idiots of all. I am the CEO of a Credit Union and I would NEVER allow my employees to randomly call anyone to survey them or sell them something. I really could care less what the law is because MY time is very valuable and I don't have a second to spare at home or at work talking to someone who does not have MY permission to contact me. The law must be changed now so that all calls can be blocked. If I don't know YOU, don't call me. MY telephone is for friends, families and companies that have MY permission to contact me. The same goes for my SNAIL mailbox and my e-mail address.
"We can't take you off of a list that does not exist. We dial random #'s. Why does that confuse people? R A N D O M. go look it up it's a simple word"B U L L S H ! T is a simpler word that shouldn't confuse even you. There is a direct cause and effect: Take the Nielsen Ratings Survey for a week; then as a way of saying "thanks, chump" you will instantaneously be subjected to endless phone call "surveys". I have taken steps to have these creeps cease and desist. If anyone reading this is contemplating taking part in a Nielsen Survey, run, do not walk away from it.
I used to work for them. "Employee" is absolutely correct. The interviewer who calls HAS NO CONTROL and is required to call the randomly generated phone number appearing on his or her computer screen. The interviewer can't just bypass it.
Here is an excerpt from the email I just sent to these bottom-feeders. Was I too subtle?"I know your company already has this information [my name and phone number], because one or more of your yammering harpies has tried on numerous occasions to call me for a purported "survey," despite my direction to remove this number from your company's list.Allow me to make this easy for you:I WILL NOT participate in any survey, compensated or otherwise. I do not want your money. I simply want your company to go straight to the hell you so richly deserve. You will NEVER get the information you are seeking from me, no matter how many harassing telephone calls you make. All you will succeed in doing is causing me to insult your mouth-breathing minions, which I have thus far refrained from doing. But I will be polite no longer. So let's just save your poor, underpaid halfwits from the insults that most definitely will be coming their way the next time they call. REMOVE my number from your list immediately, and move on with your worthless, bloodsucking existence. Now, go pound sand.Sincerely . . .
Excerpt from their letter with enclosed dollar bill:{"Dear Survey Household _ We're sorry if we upset you with our recent telephone call. We only want to ask you about your opinions on Radio listening, Newspaper reading and TV viewing.. Blah..Blah..Blah.."}{unquote}.. Now i have to open every piece of junk mail i get, rather than tearing 'em up. I might find a hundred dollar bill inside! :LMAO:
Thanks for your post you can now remove Mr. bcohen from this list as he just passed away from cancer your wish came true JACK@SS
Call their 800# and ask to have your phone number removed from their call listings.1-800-753-6043I received this number from a Sc. Res caller that I was very direct with about not being called further. He explained that he was not allowed to access the data files but that calling this number, I could have my number removed. When I called, I got an immediate pick-up, I explained I wanted to be taken off the call list, the associate asked for my phone number, nothing more, and explained that my number would be removed within 72 hours. Here's hoping this works, and for the long run.
You have options, and they are MORE than WILLING to helo you opt out. BUT YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT... hanging up wont do anything but insure you will be called again. Do not be STUPID and IGNORANT... And DO THE STUPID SHORT SURVEY... and you will either be done for good.. or get something out of the situation in the first place!.
