Received call from this number 212-465-9832, the caller ID name was. Purdy,Robert. Very annoying , no message was left. Guess I will block this number.
Called to try to get info so they could lower my credit card rate on Visa, Discover Card, or Master Card. Mind you he sounded like her was from India. Nothing but a scam. Once I told them I dont have any credit cards and asked why I was recieving this call, his punk [***] hung up on me. When I called the number back It says "welcome to Verizon, the mailbox of the subscriber is full".
Got a call from this number. Did not answer. They left no message. I own no credit cards so I know this is a scam. Will be blocking number
Called twice at 11:11 today. Didn't answer guess call twice thought I'd think it was a serious call. Left no messages
This New York # has called me so far 3 times today 10:07am, 10:56am, and 12:20pm. I never answer calls from #s I don't know because I have fallen victim to one of these scams before.I learned my lesson & now look for threads like this before I do anything! Auto reject now!!
Just like 'George' above, I got the recorded message on my cell that said "This is your credit card company and we've been trying to reach you about lowering your interest rate. Push 1 to speak with a consultant or press 2 and your offer will expire".I pressed 2 assuming this would put me on their do-not-call list, instead it connected me with a man with an Indian sounding accent. I told him to take me off their list immediately and he said "whoa, slow down, who do you think you are?, you're not my father and can't talk to me like that". To which I replied that they had already called me once and I had asked to be taken off their list and this was the second time and to immediately remove me from their list or I'll report them. He said "I don't care about your list and there's nothing you can do about it." I hung up on him.

I received a text with this phone number stating that it was from the United States Postal Service and that I needed to open up an urgent notice from them.
called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call
