I got a call from this number and of course didn't answer, but they left a voicemail. It's my final courtesy call before they are unable to lower my credit card interest rate. Yeah right. If you want to really lower my interest rate, you don't need to call. And if you were really a credit card company of mine, you wouldn't ring as Robert Purdy. He will be added to my auto-reject list.
212-465-9832 called me this afternoon - did not leave a message. I have blocked them from calling again.
Have been receiving weekly mail from Robert Purdy, wanting to "buy" my house, which is not for sale. Now this same person has gotten my cell phone number and is calling me. Is there a way to block this number from calling me?
Called a couple of times this morning, caller ID shows the number and the caller name as "Robert Purdy" neither of which is familiar to me. I called back thinking it might be legit as there was a name with the number. Got a mailbox is full message, so just blocked it based on the comments here.
Call from this number...claiming to be my credit card company wanting to lower my payment. Hung up on them. When I tried to call back got a recording that the number was not in service. I am fricking on the National Do Not Call List...for all the good that does.
My caller ID said "Purdy Robert". Did not recognize the name or the number, so I did not answer the phone. Caller did not leave a message.
You're a scumbag. Find a real job, do something constructive. What's the matter, don't know how to work a shovel?
To Matt the telemarketer - how about telling us YOUR phone number AND where you live. I'm sure there are a few people who would like to "speak" with you. I really hope that the next deranged person targets a telemarketing call center. As sad as this sounds, I'll bet that there would be more cheers then tears. This country is sick and tired of telemarketers. I, like everyone else in this country isn't answering their phone for any number they do not recognize. The drawback to that is what if that call is a true emergency? Or what about businesses who rely on their phones for BUSINESS. Any telemarketer that spoofs their number, doesn't leave a message, hangs up when you inquire as to who they are.......should be dealt with severely.
