Caller ID says Robert Purdy, voicemail message was a recording about lowering rates. Really getting tired of this, but at least True Caller blocked the call from even ringing on my phone. I just noticed I had a voicemail.
I answered the call and it was a recording about lower interest rates in my "credit card". It said press 1 if I wanted to speak to someone so I did just to play along with this scam. It directed me to a person who asked how I was doing. After he heard my response, he hung up. I probably didn't sound like a senior or an immigrant.
I got this call, and so many other unwanted calls. I eventually had to BUY a call blocker and have it attached to my home phone. So far I have blocked 74 calls..... even after I registered my phone with the Do Not Call Registry!!!
I forgot to mention that I called right back and it said that the line was out of service. I will also add that someone is spoofing peoples numbers. Someone texted me angrily saying that I was calling them and leaving messages about products. Clearly a spoof.
