They called my cell phone at work and went to voicemail. The offer on voicemail is to lower my credit card interest rate. I am so sick of these calls!!! They called back 10 minutes later today with the same message on voicemail!!! In fact, they have called 10 times in the past four months, and I have asked them several times to stop calling. They don't care and don't listen!
This number left a message for me. I didn't get who they were with but they were offering to lower my credit card rate. I don't even know if it was from a company that I have a credit card with or if they were trying to get me to open a new credit card with a lower rate. I just blocked them because it wasn't something I was interested in.
Calls me three times a day every day. So irritating.
These are unsolicited phone calls. I don't even have a credit card.
Getting a live person like this is a blast! I love to answer the phone in an old man voice and play with them. Lead them on to believe they have a live mark, giving them info that makes fun of random third world countries. Sometimes I'll ask them to wait while I get my wallet and put the phone down and walk away, maybe pick it up after a while and see if they are still there then have them wait again. Sometimes I'll play some recordings of vulgar stuff for them or I'll just insult them myself, or give them the hot and heavy breathing like I'm rubbing one out asking them to talk to me.You'll never stop getting these calls so it's no use getting angry or filing complaints. Calls at stupid hours are annoying, just pick it up and place it on the table and go back to sleep.
Actually, you're wrong. All numbers can be placed in the fed list, including cell. The problem is these asshats have dialers that show fake numbers, so it's hard to pinpoint who they are. All telemarketers are scumbags. Period.

UNKNOWN CALLER - LEFT NO MESSAGE
You ask if this is really that big of a deal? When these people call multiple times and at all times of the day or night, yes it's a big deal. Do YOU like to get bothered while you're at work? Eating a meal? Getting your kids ready for bed? OR just falling asleep after a 14 hour work day?

Yes it did
I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.
Quit smoking quit line. Not spam. I used the Quit line to quit smoking. This is a follow up call.
