I am repeatedly getting calls from this number. A month ago I answered and hit the button to reject calls. It's a sales pitch for credit reduction. I asked to be taken off and the man of Indian decent hassled me and refused to take me off. Then screamed at me and hung up. I keep getting calls weekly and multiple times a day. Today I answered and he started saying horrible vulgarities to me which I won't repeat. I can't get them to stop calling, and now he's harassing me. He's called me 4 times in the last 20 mins
Let it ring so I could Cherokee number, no voicemail left. Based on previous write ups here, blocking number. I'm on both state and fed DNC lists....
To all of you who complain that DNC list doesn't work: it DOES work when the potential xaller is a law abiding company. When it's someone trying to scam you, do you think they'd obey one law (the list), but break all kinds of fraud laws trying to get money out of you? The scammers have allkinds of tricks...the most annoying is when they spoof their number to make it LOOK like it's from a legit company or even police dept or ORS, or at least from your area code...if I don't KNOW the number & it's not on my contact list WITH AN ASSIGNED RINGTONE, it gets the default ringtone, which is silent, so I never hear the ringing. If it's a legit call, they'll leave a message. That way, I can decide what vm IS legit & don't have 2 EVER hear an unknown number calling me again!
Crédit card company to lower my interest rate. I believe he said his name was Martin, (had a foreign accent) He mentioned the cards I have. Told him I only use one of them. He then asked me to verify the expiration Date...which I did. THEN asked me to give him the card number! I told him I was not going to do that!! I proceeded to tell him to Remove me from his caller list, and he continued to argue over my words. I just simply could not get in another word...so I hung up on him!
Tired of these calls! Everyone out there thinks they are dealing with STUPID consumers. Unfortunately, some people fall for it. (scammed)This call was from a foreign language accent person, who wanted to offer me the chance to lower my credit card interest. When he asked me to give him the credit card number, I said I am NOT going to do that! He started arguing with me and spoke over my words...so I simply hung up on him.
