Illegal scammer called on my cell phone- the government needs to DO something about this crap! Call it back & the mailbox is full- NO [***]! If a normal person answered I would have thought this to be a fake/spoofed phone number. Apparently not!
I received a call from this number. It was a recorded message saying I had unpaid balance on credit card

Reiterating what most everyone has said. "Robert Purdy" dialed my land line but did not leave a message on my machine. The problem with blocking these calls is that my phone carrier allows only so many phone numbers to block versus an overwhelming number of scamming or prank calls that qualify to be blocked and that I receive on a daily basis.
Whoever is using this number has been busy. Just got a call on this number (3:10 pm) from Purdy Robert, didn't answer, didn't recognize name or number, they didn't leave a message. Thank you all for posting these scam calls, it's nice knowing I haven't missed a call I should have answered.
