Be aware when you answer any such calls. I'm not sure how it works with the cell phones but a while back there was a company that called people at home and the absolutely only thing they needed from the caller was to hear the words "Hello". After that they would hang up. The company's excuse was that they did have a word exchange with the caller (to legally excuse themselves) and then they would pile up a phony amount on your phone bill, monthly. This, of course, apply to home lines.

Did not answer. I get calls every day, sometimes more than once. I haven't answered. Interestingly, 212-650-7000 is the main number for CCNY, a college. This may be spoofed.

They call about once per week I don't answer

Called 4 times in 24 hours. He said it was for computer repairs. Tried to call back but the number is not in service. Blocked the number. Thank you for your information.

On my Saturday off...got 7 calls starting at 9:40AM thru 7:15PM. May still get more...days' not over yet! How annoying! So persistant! I never answer but ringing phone all day on a Saturday makes me want to pull out my phone!

The same thing happened to me and I am now getting calls from NY 212-650-7149. This is harassment in our State.

After many unanswered/unsolicited calls from 212-650-7149 I added them to my contacts and blocked them. Hope that works, they are calling several times a day - annoying!

It's the Windows scam people

Same folk who used 212-720-6130. Makes one wonder how much longer before the authorities nail them. If you don't know the number calling you - don't answer, just report to the appropriate authorities.

This number called about 4 times a day, finally a woman answered and I told her not to call again and they called again and again. Scam people.
