Called about 11:30 this morning but looking at the number I immediately blocked it for good. The best thing about the call blocking app that I downloaded is the ability to answer and hang up immediately, that way they are unable to leave a voice mail, also. And as for the "Do Not Call List" - that is a joke. Most of the callers that are attempting to "scam" someone are overseas or use untraceable numbers so it does no good. It just stops the "legitimate" telemarketers - if there are any! The best apps out there are those that can "block unwanted callers"!

I got a phone call from 2132711645 that will not let me call them back. Please make them stop.

I just had someone call me at 5 in the morning from a los Angeles number stating they were from the maintenance department in concerns for my windows computer. I laughed at her and said nice try i don't have a window's computer..

Got a call from this person in the past with several different numbers and scams. I laugh at him this time went off on him. When I asked how he got my number he hung up. In the middle of the call he tried to say it was a collection call. Seriously laughed at him and went off some more. May not do any good but everytime When I raise heck with him it seems to stop for a while this last time it has been 6 months since the last call. This call was concerning a virus on my computer at first then changed to a collection call. The number is 213-271-1645 and the caller id says shyamal_8016. Tried to call the number back and says the number is no longer in service.

When I answered the call I heard a younger voice, possibly female, state "Someone answered, I don't know what to say." The call was then disconnected.

This Adam guy says computer is a risk. Just hang up its a scam. Has called 4-5 times a day this morning at 729am. This is to much..

Called at 10:30 CST. I answered and the caller hung up after speaking one syllable. From the comments I'm glad I didn't call back.

Received a call from this number at 3:51am. Caller ID simply says Los Angeles CA. Didn't answer as it was about 4 in the morning and I didn't find the phone. Did not leave a message and since any friends I have in that area would have called the cell phone, I didn't call back.

This group is multi-purposed: 1) to find live telephone numbers so they can sell them to scammers who will be calling to take your $ one way or another,. 2) A central calling bank that works for a lot of different scam center trying to sell you whatever that particular center is selling. The best thing to do is 1) NOT ANSWER the phone; and 2) get a call blocker. They are inexpensive and VERY helpful. I have Phone Tray Pro and love it. But Panasonic has a phone that blocks up to 250 phone call after only one ring. That's all you'll hear, is one ring. Google Voice also has a call-blocking program. And there are others. .
