Caller claimed to be from Microsoft Service Center, calling about my computer. Wanted to speak to my husband. I said, "You're lying to me. We don't even have a PC," and I hung up. We have a Mac, and never use Microsoft products. The display on my phone said "Cypress - Los Angeles." The caller did use my husband's first name, so it was not a random call.Oddly enough, about 15 minutes before that, I received a call from "Arcata CA (707) 840-3192." When I answered, thinking it was a friend from Arcata, the caller hung up. I checked the number, which is not my friend's number.I suspect the first call was from someone checking to see if I was at home, or if the number was a good number.

Claimed to be with Windows support or some such nonsense. I said "seriously?", hung up, and blocked the #.

"Windows Service Center" scam. Claim to be monitoring computers and say that "your computer is at high risk". Well known scam. They try to get access and install BS spyware or charge to "clean your system". If called from this number, HANG UP.

this number has been linked to computer scams in the pastcurrently they are offering a free energy survey with an in home salesperson

Called at 4 AM in the morning and woke me up. When I answered, there was nobody on the line.

I keep getting these calls from this number also, it just doesn't make any sense that when you filed for these unwanted problems, no one will not help. I don't know who to go to anymore!!!!!

Called and and wouldn't say anything, dead silence, so I hung up.

Received a call from this number and didn't answer at 5:44pm CST on April 29, 2013. Strange is, previously to this I received another call just 5 minutes earlier from another phone number/scammer/prank that I didn't answer, from 800-301-7482. Related ? ? ? - Verizon home phone land line Plano, TX 75074
