Auto-message that said it was "Ann from Political Surveys of America" and if you took a short 30 second survey you'd get two tickets to a cruise to the Bahamas. Riiight. You had to press 1 if you wanted to do it. The message repeated itself once more before automatically hanging up.

They say they are from Political Opinions of American. Then I hang up. Happened the last two days so far.

Unwanted calls, from Yahoo posts it shows tons of people getting these unwanted telemarketing scammers.

This is not a political survey, no political survey can give away 2 day cruses as this claims it will. This is a timeshare scam with the call originating from India via voice over internet protocol and a false US POTS caller ID message. It's fraud at the worst level and exactly why I opposed PIPA and SOPA. If this can't be stopped over phone service with laws that should prevent it - the the government can't "manage the internet either. Give -me- and affected citizen the authority to prosecute this and I will, but don't trust a corporate owned government bureaucrat that power - they'll abuse it and this kind of problem will increase exponentially. BTW at 3pm this day the automated scammers running this are gathering data on the 770 area code in Georgia.
