I have had several of these calls. Because I dont recognize the number, I do not answer; however, a message is never left. I have tried to call the number back afterward but to no avail!

Texas calls frequently, doesn't leave a message, just hangs up after three rings on home phone.

I got a call too.

I started getting these calls for almost a year or more. The calling frequency has increased. One guy left a message if I did not call I will be arrested by sheriff office the idiot had left number. Called our sheriff office they said it is scam and or people phishing. I then googled these numbers. I am not privileged one they are calling. Lots of other get same type of calls I hope some how this game fades away as they get tired of this imagine old people with little education god protect them from these vultures

Won a free cruise. Now I'm on a boat and they won't let me off. No, wait, I think I see land. I have to go now, I'm jumping off and swimming for it. Others beware!

I answer this call and no one is there. They call different times of day in bpmy cell phone. I would not think of calling back. I don't do that. I believe, if important, leave a message.

Got a call on my cell. No answer, no call center noise, nothing. They disconnected after a minute or so. Although the reports to DNC and FTC don't SEEM to do much, remember that these crooks use technology to avoid detection. They spoof numbers and bounce their calls around in the system to make them untraceable, and thus difficult to locate for prosecution. How do you fine someone you can't find? It takes law enforcement time to catch up with them.Also, just because they are calling you at an unlisted number doesn't mean anyone you know "gave it away". The crooks simply call blocks of numbers with a robocaller and hit you at random.
