I got the same letter....andvi havent recieved a so called Secret Society book yet!!!
I got the letter today and it said I need to have it mailed or faxed by 5/31/13 yeah right I bet that will happen scammer HUh!!!!!
The only thing that I see that really strikes me as odd is that they aren't asking for anything in return. They just ask us to send the thing back in. They seem to want nothing. Can anyone shed any light?
I recivied a letter almost identical to"The League" a few years ago. At that time it was called"Secret Society". I sent my letter in and money for the book. I recived a 400 pg book all about starting your own business, pretty much.
they buy mailers and then send their scam out. They really don't know a damn thing about you, their just guessing. They got me all wrong so that's how i know.
Two weeks ago I went online and ordered stuff on Amazon.com. I received my goods and two weeks later I received this letter "THE LEAGUE" (Secrets Society). I decided to research the fax number 214-367-3877 and it took me to this website with many people that received somewhat the same letter from this scammers. It is kind of spooky because they were telling about my personality/ what kind of person I am....that they know a great deal about me....that I have been on their radar for quite some time and it is their business to keep tabs on people.....not for nefarious purposes. They said that I possess many of the characteristics, traits, and qualities they admire, and they make me an ideal candidate for membership into their League. That I am kind, almost to a fault. I make and keep friends easily. My word is my bond. I lived my life honorably, and always striving to do the right thing and to do my best at all times. That I never cut corners and I have always put my own ambitions aside and put the needs of others ahead of myself. That they know a great deal about me and I would be surprised at how much they do know.....and so forth and so on...and they Blah! Blah! Blah some more. It was a 10 page letter and the 11th page was the "THE LEAGUE" Membership Certificate. To all the people out there... please save your stamps and time dealing with these con artists. They are nothing but scammers!!!
