I used Skype (skype.com) to call someone a few minutes ago and this number (214 586-0999) showed up on their caller ID. No big deal.

Call that came through was from an extremely crowded call center. Sounded Indian and he could barely hear me. Hung up on him.

I received a call yesterday morning from this number. Someone with a Middle-Eastern or Indian accent offered me a free Sprint Cell Phone in exchange for my address, SSN and DL#. Anyone else get this?

It's ok! It's my friend from Europe who was trying to call me. It apparently went through out a Texas local phone.

I have been applying for scholarships and grants like crazy online. So, a few minutes ago I received a call from a person claiming to be Jerry Vasquez with CEM Associates. He claimed that the GOVERNMENT has reviewed my application for a Grant and that I'm eligible. He said all that I need to provide was (get this) $489.00! That would be refunded to me on my taxes once I received my grant money. I told him "Mr. if I had $489.00 sitting around to pay to you to find me money, then I would not need a Government Grant" so he said "_____, If you find a school that you can go to for $489.00 then go! Have a good day!" and he hung up. Of course, I googled the number 214-586-0999 and this is where I ended up. BIG TIME SCAM!

214-586-0999keeps calling my house at 2am. it just rings once or twice. i've never gotten to the phone in time to answer it. if anyone ever meets this guy, please kick him in the nuts for me.trip johnson.

I just got a call from this number. The lady at the other end knows my name and offerd me nice holiday package to Mexico. She was talking about one Galleria Mall with a foreign accent.

I got this call today and the voicmail was a call from Mexico. When I called it back, there were like 6 different people on the line! It was hillarious! I stayed on the phone for 10 minutes and called a few of my co-workers in. We all kept saying funny stuff and the confusion with everybody on the phone was hilarious!!

I just received a call on my cellphone from (214)586-0999 and when i called back, I heard different peoples communication in different languages. Some of the languages I could recognize them. Tigrigna, Amharic, Hindu, Arebic....languages. I sow what it explained by the others, so that I didn't confused. It could be as you said Skype...

the first call was at 11:39 and the number 2147-586-0999, but i was on the other line soo i ignored it then they called again but it came up at unknown so again i ignored, and i notice they left 2 messages, the nextmorning i hear this man who says hello and he sounds pissed and its all quiet same with the other message but he kepts saying hello
