My boyfriend and I use Skype and when he called tonight, this is the number that was displayed under caller id
I'm not getting calls from this number, but....this number has been showing up on people's cell phone caller ID's as my number when I call them from my land line (I'm in CA). I have talked with ATT and they say it is an issue on the cell phone side of the network, not on my side. I have talked to my long distance carrier (not ATT) to see if it is an issue on their side. Waiting to hear back from them. This is my business phone so it is causing problems with folks trying to call me back from their caller ID!! They get various weirdness when they call it -- a recording saying if you want to be removed from the list please leave your number, etc. Can't really tell why this is happening...don't see a similar issue in other posts here. Any ideas??My partner has been receiving calls from this number, and it turns out to be a bank. Thanks
yeah really weird. this caller called me april 17th at 7:56, at 6:14, at 3:55. has anyone recently deactivated a phone then activated a new one when they got this number? i did, and so it is hard to tell if i know who is calling me or not. also what provider do you have? im verizon.
I just had a client call me and I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I looked up the number and found this site. I then received a voicemail from him. After asking him a few questions about it, he tol dme that he uses SKYPE and the this is the number that shows up.
This number is a relay / repeater number for incoming International calls. My parents just called me from Germany and this "International" 214# came up on the caller ID. My parents use Tmobile overseas to call back to the states. Again this is incoming International calls. Hope this helps. If you are not expecting an overseas call just ignore the call...either someone has misdialed or someone is randomly calling state side phone numbers to attempt a scam....ie Nigerian or Russian scams.
My friend and I read a snippet from a computer digest and found 214-586-0999. We called and were able to hear a number of people talking @ the same time and like a well placed fly on the wall, we sat and listened. Also, to test if our voices were heard we had conversations of our own. Upon doing some homework on this issue, I found: (214) 586-0999Type: Land LineProvider: Ibfa Acquisition Company, LlcLocation: Dallas, TXThis location handles calls from Mexico into the United States. At this point I'm not sure if this is a manipulated number from a VOIP service.I
just recieved a call from this number on my blackberry 8800. Instead of hitting the answer key I hit ignore. Called back number and has a techno music and every now and then it will say "please wait while we connect your call" Sorry guys not much info here.
f*ck all of you who are making claims, that are not getting these calls! it IS a very serious matter when someone calls you at 4 in the morning who knows your name and address and is asking for more personal info about you. i am livid at the fact that you are trying to belittle a serious situation such as this one! it has absolutely NOTHING to do with "the men in black" or a honest overseas call. lots of these, counting mine, are threating calls and they are looking for personal info that is not innocent! i can think of no other reason someone would call from overseas telling you your name and address and asking for your ss number at 4 in the morning other than for criminal acts! you are a piece of [***] and i would love to give you my phone number in privacy if you would like to further discuss it with me. i'd also like to give them your phone number since it's all so innocent and we're so stupid...that's cool, right?!
