I live in the States and my boy friend is out of the country right now. We talk everyday. But since Monday, when he calls this crazy number have been showing up on the caller ID and it is not his phone number. I asked where are you callimg me from and he said his own phone. I explained that this 214 # showed up on the caller ID and we both thought it was weird, I told him that information (411) said that 214 exchange is a Dallas, TX area code. Please explain, we are both puzzled by it. But I must add, your comments here really helps, because neither one of us could explain it, hell I almost accused him of not being where he said he was!

This is a number From Skype when a call is made from a skype accountt hat does not have a number attached toit ie>they have not bought a land line number it gives thisgeneric number hopethis helps shed some lite on this subject

I got a call from 234-803-7308 (an Ohio area code) at work, some guy from Nigeria. Kept calling and calling and calling. Left 2 voice mails on my general machine at work. One was at 5:15am, saying that he wants a job in the US and that he will be my servant and yadda yadda...i didnt understand half of it. I told him to stop calling because he was harrassing, and trying to get information from me. Then again today, the same thing happend. So i just started hanging up the phones as I saw the caller ID. Then another call came in, this time from 214-586-0999 (i am a receptionist and have to answer all calls), and it was the same man and started harrassing me again. So he called about 12 time. I kept hanging up. This is scary and annoying at the same time.

received the first call from 512-945-1261. The caller ID said "international" then another from same number ID said "Dallas". I continued to receive calls from this number back to back for an hour or so. Sometimes silence on the phone, sometimes a person w/a foreign accent would ask for cyndi. Then he would ask for bonnie. Then he asked for someone named Jamie. I told him to quit calling my number. He insisted that he needed help....and gave a long pitiful story. I believe he is from Nigeria. I just wish he would stop calling.

This number is regestered to IBFA and is what is known as a "local exchange service." They provide numbers to appear on caller ID's that are not the number of the true caller. was this guy named mike? I just wish the phone company could stop the harrassment. This has been going on for months.
