i got a call from this also and i started asking around.. it is from ppl who call from skype. it was my husband in iraq.
My fiance is in Mexico...when she calls me I get all kind of weird numbers from NO CALLER ID, to 0000123456, to this number. Also, I get numbers from New Jersey sometimes. I'm not sure why sometimes a number and sometimes not, but that is how I came across this number
I just received a call from the same number 214-586-0999. They left a message giving me a local callback number (949 area code). It was an automated message from Farmer's Insurance about career opportunities. It appears that the these calls are being routed through the 214-586-0999 number.
I received a call the read: Internationl on my caller ID. I was changing my address with one of my pension plans in Washington DC that starts with International so I called the number back. 214-586-0999 was the number and they asked me to hold for the next avaleable operator. I did for a few seconds then hung-up for fear it was one of those people who tap into your telephone and use your long distance.What is this number? I would love to know!
Recevied call and asked for owner or manager. I told him that he wasn't in yet. Then he asked for the person in charge regarding a web site. I told him we do not need a web site and he just "clicked" me off.
I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS # AS WELL TODAY AROUND 3:30?I CALLED 411, VERIZON, THEY HAD NO EXCHANGE FROM THE 586 PORTION OF THAT # IN THE DALLAS AREA. DON'T KNOW IF ALL ARE TO VERIZON CUSTOMERS, BUT I JUSTED SWITCHED OVER TO VERIZON FROM CINGULAR?
Had a hang-up call from this number on my answering machine yesterday. It's not a collection call as we have no financial problems. Don't know how a calling network works. This whole thing sounds very suspicious to me.
