I got a call from my husband today and said he was calling from a payphone in south Texas as no cell phone service. I got to thinking about the area code later and found this page after I found out it was a Southwestern Bell number out of Dallas. I was thinking about divorce procedings prior to finding this site. I called Sprint but was told that they could not check the number out for me.
I received 2 calls from this number with no voicemail message. I also tried to call it back but it was busy.
A friend of mine traveling on the road (on vacation)with her family called from this payphone number today at 6:37pm. She said there was no cell phone service where she was and to please call her back ASAP at this number/pay phone.She did not give an area code when she left her messege so I looked at my caller ID unit.I tried to reach her for over an hour at this number but it was continuously busy.Worried about my friend I called the camp ground they were supposed to check into. This number is in fact a payphone at that camp ground that does not take incomming calls, always gives a busy signal.The camp ground sub-leases the pay phones thay have.The phone is located at Happy Holidays Campground in Cherokee,NC.
i just got a call now. and it was from 214-969-5489. It hung up as soon I answered. I didn't think anything otherwise, I just came on google to check area code and found out it was TX. Then I wanted to try to search for number just thought it would be fun and nothing will come out... I saw this post and a few other ones out there...what is going on with this number?
I received a call from this number: 214-969-5489 @ 8:27 this morning. I didn't answer when I saw the number on the ID b/c I don't know anyone from the 214 area code. Curiosity got the better of me so I called back the number for about 20 minutes and it was always busy when I called it back. I am not sure who was initailly trying to call me but I hope it wasn't anything too serious. Could it be that the person uses a calling card? I know they show different numbers than the one the person is actually calling from.
ok so this number is coming out of vista california also? a buddy of mine has my car. he leaves me a message and cller id says 214 969 5489. i call it back and it's busy for 6 days.
Some one called me from this number I live in va and well i didn't answer but there was no msg it is weird that all you people have got calls from this number
