I am in ND and recieved a call from a friend from a payphone here....so this number is all over the US...

it is also a payphone in lake geneva illinois.

this is simple. many pay phones are owned by one company, they all have different exchanges. my boy freind is a truck driver, i dropped him off at this rig and 15 min later he called me from this number, he was still at the truck stop in ohio where i dropped him off. if someone is using a calling card the blocks of numbers will show up in a similar manner. this is not the big mystery we would like it too be. if a telephone is owned by xyz company you could receive many calls from the same number by different phones.

I also believe that it is a calling card my ex must be trying to contact me because he doesn't like the fact that I filed child support! ooh well should not have lied and had another baby! LOL

i recieved a call from this number, but it was from a close friend in dade county jail? i asked him, how did you call me from Dallax,TX and he told me he was in Miami,FL...

I have been getting calls from this number they call in spanish and leaves no mess and hangs up when I say hello I try to call back and its busy they keep calling I tried reverse look up my phone company said there is no listing

This is a pay phone company. No matter where you call from this is there number. Mystery solved.

Been getting calls from this number ( 214-969-5489 ) for the past three days 3 - 4 times a day. No one there when I answer. Callback gives me a busy signal.

Last night and this morning (12-9-07) I received about 10 prank calls from 5 different #s including 214-969-5489 and phone numbers from area codes 706 and 252. All the calls sounded like the same person. I originally thought it was just someone that I knew messing with me. I live in Greenville, NC could the pay phones here have that number?
