I know you are just doing you're job ,but I have no money . My son who is now 33 was almost killed by a drunk driver in 1996, he is still in rehab and will never be the same.His brain injury not only devastaed him but also his mother. In 1998 she died after a long battle with heppatitais c wich destroyed her liver.Afterwords I continued to raise my remaining 3 children the best I could. As of now I reside in michigan and try to take care of my 85 year old mother. I have told other bill collectors of my problems and they really don't care. I in turn do not care either ,you cannot ruin my credit because I have none. You cannot shame me . I am numb to youre verbal assaults.Go after someone else that fears you!
My doctor's office reported us the the credit agencies without telling us over a 25.00 deductible which we were unaware of. We called to resolve it, and they were unwilling to remove the negative report. So, I will not pay them or the collection agency - I no longer bloody care - the damage is done.
You must work for them, which is why you say they are "nice." If you paid the hospital directly rather than FFCC, your bill would have been taken care of and FFCC would have lost any commission for getting the money out of you instead.
Paying a collection account will not improve your credit. It doesn't matter whether it's paid or unpaid, as long as it's there it hurts you. If it's on your credit, go to creditboards.com forums and read about the "HIPPA process" which will help you actually get the item deleted from your credit report
Yes I agree. Got a call from them wasn't NICE!!!! go to the site who calls me from 2163602000 and you will see the calls are not so rosy and it is made to believe over here!!!!

Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
