Interesting that so many are saying this is a legitimate call regarding fines owed to Illinois Circuit Court, as i have received calls from this number and have never even BEEN to Illinois. So how is it I owe them anything? They called me and failed to leave a message.
I did not get a call, however, there was a voicemail left stating do not erase message until calling them. They said you can text them, or go online. I have not been in Illinois for over 10 years and my sister has cases out there on her and lives there. She uses my phone phone and email all the time to get out of things.
Live person left message on my voice mail wanting me to call them back about my financial needs. This call went directly to my voice mail, phone did not ring. I do not know this caller and have not done business with them so they have no business calling me.
They keep calling me about a ticket my husband got in Illinois 4 years ago. I'd like to know how they got my number because I had a different phone number at that time....seems sketchy to me.....
Bogus out of stat debt collector, not even licensed in my state, gonna file FDCPA complaint.
I also question why some posters with info fail to disclose the info they have. Did do a search "217-717 loan" that leads to Ceannate / FMS / i3 Group / ion tuition / BPO Services. Have personally been contacted by i3 Group disguised as debt counselors who failed to disclose their association with FMS / Ceannate when asked directly about a family member with a student loan. There are few agencies more predatory than those under Department of Education's loan / loan servicing / debt collection. Start with unfair, deceptive, abusive acts, practices (UDAAP) under the Dodd Frank Act that leads to violations within FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, TSR, and Federal Trade Commission Act.

808 808 5764 sent aphishing scam email with this phone number attached. They were impersonating PayPal. It had the PayPal logo and said I owed $598.00 and that they would charge PayPal. I reported the email to PayPal. This is scary and fraudulent.
